Oooo Sarge sounds absolutely smilingly gorgeous Eva, I like height on a man, almost a protective height kind of thing. My partner’s the same height as me , so In heels I tower.. Mind you, lately I live in sandals so no trouble.. I read the one by Callahan, too. I liked it, also; and shed a few tears.
The movie was great as you said. I would have had trouble with it, perhaps, had I not read the book first. However, I went with the multiple storylines and dealt with it like I dealt with the book, feeling my way through the message of love, the elimination of judgement, the power of communication and that elusive phrase of there never being anything “new under the sun”. I laughed with the Cavendish storyline and wept with the one about Frobrisher. I will watch this again and I think that is a true testament of a good movie. To see something new every time. Thank you, so much for the shove this direction.
