odds and ends and new tracks

Hello bloglanders. As anyone who is interested already knows–I am wayyy behind on all sorts  of blog business. Going to try to catch up with folks doing awards and comments and visiting old haunts and seeking some new ones as best I can a little day by day.

Since awards are basically networking tools I’m going to try to advance the interests of folks interested in such traffic issues in my own fashion–partly in order to get back into the swing of things and to do so a bit at a time in order to even be able to catch up at all.  Will attempt to implement da plan soon–hear that Tart of the Arts and Geradine B? I have NOT forgotten!

For today I’d like to share a little shop I discovered while visiting relatives in the Windy City before shipping my daughter off to Korea. Mary at Native American Arts was so very kind about playing selections from several cds on a Saturday afternoon that this post is sort of a “Hello and thanks for your patience in helping me select a wonderful cd, Spirit Rain by Bill Miller.”

You can check out Mary’s shop online at  http://www.catchyourdreams.com/

or in hard copy/ie, the real world at 17028 S. Oak Park Ave in Tinley Park, Illinois 60477.   There’s a  large variety of dreamcatchers, jewelry, pottery, fetishes, music, books and  many other traditonal items to discover at Native American Arts.

Waves and grins to everyone playing in blogland!

Hey there, was wondering what you’d been up to!

Hi Dennis, well wish it was more exciting–like digging in the sand of San Diego for early 1912 movie cowboys–but, recently been catching the breeze off Lake Michigan. Know any early movie buffs? And I do mean early–from the time when Edendale existed.

Welcome back. Got a little worried when you disappeared. Thought of reporting a 911 call about kidnapping. Kidding 😀
