Wanna Tanka? Visit Ryeder for a chance to taste ’em!

Okay, some time back I did a post on the Lakota produced Tanka Bars out of Kyle, South Dakota. Since that post I’ve managed to procure some bars from a local health food store and from a Native American shop in Tinley Park, Il.  Recently I was exploring Ryeder’s weblog and discovered his monthly contest for Tanka Bars. Yes, folks, you too can click the link to Ryder’s rambles and enter for a chance to win a free taste of Tanka. Oh yes, it’s worth the entire minute it will take you to get yourself entered for the  monthly ‘drawing’. Once you taste a Tanka you’ll know why.  Oh yes, damn good is my verdict. I’ve heard there’s an ‘international’ buzz about the Tanka bars –so don’t wait until before they’re strictly an American Export. Hunt some down today.  ——–>  http://ryeder.wordpress.com/2010/07/24/tanka-bars-3/

Summer is boiling and broiling here in the Midwest, Gerardine. Yesterday it rained and then the streets literally were STEAMING wit vapors 6 feet high. Yes, it is possible to cook out under the sun. How is your wildllife refuge these days?
