“Son of the Sun” ~ Willie Dunn and cover by Kashtin

Now, in deference to that incredible Solar Power in the sky–and–to the interconnections of things, a suitable song from Willie Dunn:  “Son of the Sun”. First came across this song on a collection of music that I’m still trying to get re-shared via the party with whom I shared it.  A full body search may be required before I hear that specific cd send  forth its tunes  again.

HELLO FOLKS. Have replaced the deleted youtube video with this one which features ONLY Dunn singing and no visuals. Something about listening to the lyrics is enhanced–I think. If you have another version to suggest please post a link/video in the comments. Thanks.

Thanks 47whitebuffalo – I enjoyed listening to that! I know there is no similiarity but for some reason or other it reminded me of Bob Dylan’s ‘Father of day, father of night’ a bit (the sentiment anyway)

Hi echostains. Thanks for listening and glad you enjoyed the music. Folk song writers/singers sometimes play with each other’s creations and influences so much that your connection makes perfect sense to me. But then do consider the ‘source’ that is moi. Hmm. Okay then. Let’s NOT and say we did. Okay?
