Oh wow. I like what you do in this style so much! They are so unique to you! I like looking for the shapes of things understood and imagining your thoughts as they become something else. The lips trailing off into a ribbon of love and hope for the environment. The hint of the chin and mouth of a human face and the bird image. …and alas the flutter of wing shapes. Lovely!

Leslie, thank you for the ‘unique’ compliment. I hope you–and anyone else paying attention– could identify my work in the midst of others. Really like your word description too. Wow, between you and artistatexitO, I feel “SEEN”–in a very good way.

Eva this is wonderful. I think our art styles are similar, not style I guess but subject matter. I love the colors. It says pen and ink are they dots? How do you make them?

    • September 28, 2010 at 2:21 am

Hi Meg. I work with Japanese Sakura pens, some Faber-Castell and some others for a wider color pallate. Yes, it’s a lot of dots–stippling.
Yes, we do seem to share a connection to nature. Grins.

Feels improvised like visual jazz. Love the sense of movement in your drawing.

    • September 28, 2010 at 2:19 am

O what a description–“feels like improvised visual jazz”–well none of my art work is planned–it is improvised–and often to the sound of music–and often jazz. Very astute of you, Al. Merci.

Beautiful Eva, so much going on and yet such an easy lyrical flow. Much admiration for your talents.

You’re very kind, very talented yourself, Lynn. Glad you enjoyed the view. Hi.
