This is stunning. I love the contrast of the multi-hued mountains to the monochrome waves. MMmmmmm. I want a copy!

I have the feeling there are images in the mountains too. I just want to keep looking until I see them moving.

      • October 5, 2010 at 6:06 pm

O I like that this ‘moves’ for you. Yes, there ‘images’ in the mountains–probably more than I know. LOL.

    • October 5, 2010 at 6:05 pm

Dear Rabbit Poet–a copy can be arranged–seriously possible. Did you find the wolf?

I have a feelling he/she is in the center, but I’m just guessing. There are two peaks that look distinctly like wolf ears. There seems to be a fox on the lower right and two wolf figures on the upper left mountain. All just fun guesses. That’s what I like about this. Something new and mythic every time I look.

brilliant colours in balance with the water so it is not overpowering i see a whale in the mountains and birds a laughing crocodile a pair of eyes. You top off the picture by adding them 3 suns in the sky

    • October 5, 2010 at 6:07 pm

Clegyrboia–glad you discover so much! Wouldn’t expect anything less from a Artist of the Land–and Sky.

Beautiful color, Eva! I really like the flowing shapes of the mountains that repeat the flow of the water. I see those dots. Signature dots, I call them. Smile.

    • October 6, 2010 at 4:34 pm

Leslie–I think we both adore ‘flow’ in our own ways. Grins. How’s the hawk?

Last week end was not conducive for a visit. Hope to do that this week end a couple times. Will have to think on including him again in the painting. 🙂 Thanks for asking.

Love the intensity of the colors used, but where did your signature dots go?

    • October 6, 2010 at 4:29 pm

LOL–oh this piece was done before the DOTS became dominant, Al. These are Sakura brush tip pens though–rather than .005 Micron tips.
