Oh yes–In Wisconsin it’s round-up rodeo time! The police are searching for Democratic lawmakers in order to haul just ONE in order to have a quorum in the capital. The 14 Wisconsin state senators are AWOL in order to drag their heels regarding Gov. Scott Walker’s ramrod union busting bill efforts. Apparently the Democrat senators have fled the state to an undisclosed location. Something I’ve been told has been done “before”–so they know what they’re doing here rather than AWOL-ing off the cuff. According to nbc15.com, the state police can be sent to round-up the unco-operative senators if they don’t show up and are just simply “absent” for the quorum. Hence the out-of-state migration. No word yet on how long the senators intend to vacation out of reach of the Wisconsin State Police. I wonder if this round-up would include using those plastic handcuffs on the Democratic-doggies.
I swear I am NOT making this up! Read it for yourself by clicking on nbc15.com’s logo below! Orange shirts for everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Hi. There are several things in play in Wisconsin. The state Democratic Senators have left the state in order to evade being used to forced to allow the Republicans to vote and pass the bill that would destroy the “collective barganing rights” of the public workers. The Democrat senators are trying to get time to negotiate the Bill. Hence the reason they’ve “disappeared” themselves. I don’t think they’ve done this lightly–it’s in response to how Walker and the Repbulicans have behaved. It usually takes MONTHS for any bill to come to vote in Madison. But this Bill was introduced on last Friday and is being pushed through without any discussion with the people most interested. PLUS, there is NO economic crisis in Wisconsin. Gov. Scott Walker keeps spouting this even though there is no “crisis” situation. Also–according to politically aware folks in WI there was NO mention of this this plan by Walker while he was campagining–even though Walker claims he spoke about it. Does this help, mAgdA?

Brazil–oh yeah. But I think they could be much closer to Madison and simply enjoying some Vienna Red Hots and thin crust Chicago style pizza down in the Chicago Loop while tweeting their “socialist” comrades keeping tabs on Scott Walker’s rising dictatorship in Mad-City.There’s a hostel there they could camp in real cheap for the long haul on the lakeside.
