2:27 am
awake staring out the window
black and blue trees dancing with the wind
memories are not enough
lack of you
wounds deeper than any knife
black and blue trees dancing with the wind
moon dusted
who needs tears
they’re only salt water
black and blue trees dancing with the wind
while I howl songs of hearts breakings to the moon
under falling leaves

Hi Eva…such a melancholy poem, beautiful but also a bit sad. Are you working on your poetry more these days?

Hello Al. Some poetry amidst other things. Hope the river is treating you well. Never a shortage of creative material, is there?

pain and heartbreak, with tears falling like leaves… but the tears have their purpose…and soothe after a while. A sombre but wonderful poem Eva… xPenx

Very sad – the image of the black and blue trees is so effective!
