Lucky you at UC Santa Barbara. I’m jealous. LOL. I found Salvant by chance via the library’s Jazz collection–just before she won the Grammy.
Yes, Preacherman is incredible work. Gardot has a great voice and her work is going in interesting directions –beyond the usual songbook.
