And I have to eat my words – the PennEast Pipeline oil people have NOT given up – they’re just regrouping. I just read an excellent – and frightening – article on the degree of arsenic that will flow into the beautiful rivers and streams here, into the groundwater, and all the life that will be affected.
Saw a Dateline or 20/20 program on how re-directing the “by-product” wastewater in oil production back into the ground is the cause of so many earthquakes in Oklahoma. Wherever they shut down wells? The number of earthquakes dropped. No wonder our beautiful planet cries and storms and breaks the ground … we’re just killing her.
On the plus side … there are many organizations fighting back – good solid organizations, and they are still making strides. Unfortunately, their pockets are not as deep as the politicians and their corporate supporters.

OH the power of deep pockets.
But — Irish fought Shell Oil for over a decade without a ton of funding.
So we raise awareness and spread the word about our brave sisters and brothers on the #NoDAPL frontlines.
It’s the very least we can do when water matters to all of us.

Great video. I’m glad to see well-known celebrities getting involved because it greatly broadens the reach of what the oil co. is attempting to do and stirs up more awareness and support of everyone protesting the pipeline an why.
There was a pipeline planned for down my way – unnecessary of course – and it was defeated. They can do this.

FYI, I just got online and discovered that now ‘they’ have targeted Amy Goodman with an arrest warrant. By rights this move should bite them where it really hurts. It also reveals the extent to which authorities are collaborating with Big Oil.
